Help is on the way for homeowners

Starting in January 2022, the NH Homeowner Assistance Fund will provide financial assistance for NH homeowners who have been unable to pay their home mortgage, utilities, home insurance, association fees, and/or property taxes during the pandemic.
Many homeowners in New Hampshire, including N.H. Community Loan Fund borrowers, have experienced financial hardship during the COVID pandemic.
Help is on the way.
The NH Homeowner Assistance Fund, a federally funded program administered by NH Housing, will provide financial assistance for New Hampshire homeowners who have been unable to pay their home mortgage, utilities, home insurance, association fees, and/or property taxes during the pandemic. The program will launch in January 2022.
You’ll find more information about the program at www.homehelpnh.org/homeowners. A short questionnaire will help you determine if you might be eligible, and you can sign up for e-mail updates about the program.
As always, please reach out to your lender to see if you have any payment deferral options.
The program will launch in January 2022.
In addition, the Community Loan Fund offers its Easy Assistance Program to Welcome Home Loan borrowers who need solutions and support to navigate these challenging times. Visit www.borrowerseap.com or call 1-888-925-1982.
