Boot camp is for EVERYONE

We've expected ROC board members to complete Boot Camp training soon after a park converts to resident-ownership, but what about the general membership? We thought, why not have more members participate?

So we have been reaching out to members of all new ROCs and inviting them to Boot Camps, and it’s been great! Instead of conducting training for four or five board members, who often feel that this is just one more commitment to being on the board, we have been training 15 to 20 enthusiastic co-op members at a time. They appreciate the opportunity to learn.

Boot Camp is a comprehensive six-hour training that focuses on the nuts and bolts of owning and managing a resident-owned community. Our experienced trainers are skilled at making complex concepts easy to understand. From legal and regulatory compliance, to understanding the use of financial statements as a management tool, and so much more … really most everything you need to know to own and manage your community.

So how many members in your community have attended a ROC-NH Boot Camp? How many would like to? We can help!

Here’s the deal … if you have 12 to 15 interested members  and a place to conduct a training (onsite or at a local venue), please contact us to get on the calendar. Our Boot Camp can be done in one day or in two three-hour sessions, your choice!
